Anwer Khan Modern University (AKMU) is approved by the Govt. of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and University Grants Commission of Bangladesh on 21st August 2016 at House No. 6, Garib E-Newaz Avenue, Sector-11, Uttara, Dhaka-1230. The building is beautifully designed and made required classroom facilities with fully air conditioned. Anwer Khan Modern University (AKMU) has started its academic programs after having approval from BUGC on September 2018. The university started its academic programs and relevant activities with highly qualified faculties, experienced officers and staff. Anwer Khan Modern University (AKMU) just before launching academic programs has established most modern and sophisticated laboratories in a 6 storied separate building (just opposite of the main academic Bhavan) To establish a “Centre of Excellence” in higher education that will earn reputation and recognition both nationally and internationally 1.To develop human resources through appropriate teaching, training and guidance.
