OVERVIEW:
The mission of the Department is to explore new era for the nation and beyond through academic research and development and producing skilled people into innovative human resources in the specialized fields of EEE. We emphasize to create a medium as a tool of contributing our merit and professionalism in the development to tackle the challenges of elevating the poverty and maintain the movement of the economic wheel in the technological advent of digital Bangladesh. The Departments academic learning is supported by strong practical sessions such as laboratory experiments, internships, projects undertaken jointly by industrial partners. Students in this discipline have the opportunity to engage in real life and recent trend-based projects.
DURATION OF THE PROGRAM:
The Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) program is a four (4) year program consisting of 8 semesters of 6 months duration, 2 semesters in a year and 20 weeks per semester.
CREDIT REQUIREMENT
This is a 154 credit program including core courses consisting of lab work and a project/thesis of 3 credit hours. Each course contains 3 credits. The length of each course is 20 weeks, of which 14 weeks for classes (3 hours per week). Number of classes for each course in a week is 3, consisting of 1 hour per class.
