Honorable chairman BOT Dr. Anwer Hossain Khan, MP of Anwer Khan modern University presided over a meeting with the presence of Advisor Lt gen Shamsul Haque, VC Dr. Abul Hashem, Treasurer, Dr. Fajleah Ali, Registrar, Col Anisur Rahman & Controller, MD.Shamsul Haque on 4 June 2022 at 16.00 hrs.
Chairman gave his valuable directives on the academic functioning of the university.
- Anwer Khan Modern University is a private university located in the metropolis of Uttara of Dhaka City. Anwer Khan Modern University is officially accredited or recognized by the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh (UGC). Anwer Khan Modern University was established in the year of 2016.
- দেশে অনুমোদন পাওয়া ১০৮টি বেসরকারি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের মধ্যে অন্তত ৫০টির বিরুদ্ধে নানা অনিয়ম-দুর্নীতির অভিযোগ রয়েছে। কোনভাবেই এসব অনিয়ম থেকে বের হয়ে আসছে না বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়গুলো।
ইতিমধ্যে অন্তত ২৫টি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের বিরুদ্ধে পৃথক তদন্ত কমিটি গঠন করেছে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় মঞ্জুরি কমিশন (ইউজিসি)। সিলেট ইন্টারন্যাশনাল ইউনিভার্সিটি, সাউদার্ন ইউনিভার্সিটি, পুন্ড্র ইউনিভার্সিটি অব সায়েন্স অ্যান্ড টেকনোলজি, ইউনিভার্সিটি অব সাউথ এশিয়া, বাংলাদেশ ইসলামী ইউনিভার্সিটি, আশা ইউনিভার্সিটি, সিলেটের নর্থইস্ট ইউনিভার্সিটি, এক্সিম ব্যাংক কৃষি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়, ব্রিটানিয়া ইউনিভার্সিটি, খুলনায় অবস্থিত নর্দান ইউনিভার্সিটি, মিরপুরে অবস্থিত সেন্ট্রাল ইউনিভার্সিটি অব সাইন্স অ্যান্ড টেকনোলজি ও ইবাইস ইউনিভার্সিটির বিরুদ্ধেও তদন্ত চলছে।
